Carmichael SDA Church Bulletin

This week we will dive into the dark story of the first murder - Cain and Abel.  A story that started off so full of joy and generosity ends with brother killing brother and silent parents realizing the depth of their mistake.  The Creator crafting realty itself and handing it to our ancestors and they almost instantly wreck the thing. 

But there is light in the darkness as we see the Creator hasn’t left. He stands in the shadows working good from evil and bending the arc of the universe back toward the light from earth’s earliest moments of darkness. Could it be that a story generally interpreted to show the darkness of humanity could also actually show us the blinding light of the Creator’s kindness and generosity? We look forward to worshiping and fellowshipping with you this sabbath at Carmichael.
