Have you ever tried out for a team? Any kind of team will do. The point is when you want to join something you need to fit the role. 

This week we explore the strange little story of the legacy of Adam and Eve’s children in chapter 4 of Genesis - Seth and Cain. Two main lines emerge and diverge drastically from each other until they end generations later at the Flood where only one line survives. 

What character traits decided how these two teams (for lack of a better term) ended up in such different places as the generations rolled on and what can that teach us today as we consider the legacy we leave for those who will follow us?
