Here's the whole sermon in a nutshell. No, you are not excused from attending now! Jesus rose up from the Passover table to serve the disciples. Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and then rose up to save you and me. Jesus defeated death and the grave and rose up to intercede for every believer. Now, He asks us...He commissions us...to rise and shine in newness of life. This service, that represents taking in the full sacrifice of Jesus Christ and His offering for us, should certainly create in us an intense desire to allow Him to live out His life in us and through us. My prayer is that you will receive new life and then go in fullness of life.
