Carmichael SDA Church Bulletin

Last week we considered a tough question. "Are you willing to drink the cup that Jesus drank? Are you willing to give God everything? Are you willing to part with your possessions and even your life? Jesus is inviting us into His most inner circle. He wants us to be more than servants...more than workers...He wants us to be His friends. How many true friends do you have? How many friends do you have that would give you anything and would even step in front of certain death in order to save your life? A friend like that you would trust wouldn't you? A friend like that you would want to do anything that they might ask because you know that they love you more than life itself. Jesus is that friend. He wants to take my relationship with Him away from any list of behaviors and make it into a simple, but true, friendship. And then He wants to get introduced to your friends.
