Carmichael SDA Church Bulletin
Last Sabbath, we shared in the sacred experience of communion—remembering the Last Supper Jesus shared with His disciples on Thursday evening, just hours before His arrest and crucifixion. On Friday, He gave His life on the cross—what we now call Good Friday. But have you ever wondered about the significance of Jesus resting in the tomb on the Sabbath? After completing the work of redemption, He rested. Then on Sunday morning, everything changed. The tomb was empty. Death was defeated. Hope was alive. This Sabbath, I’ll be sharing a message titled, “Good Friday; Gooder Sunday.” It’s a lighthearted title with a powerful truth: what seemed like the end on Friday became a new beginning on Sunday. Join us as we continue to celebrate the risen Savior and the life-changing hope He offers.
